ICOM IC-PW1 1.8MHz to 50MHz 1kW linear amplifier. Full duty transmission for contests, RTTY, FT8, etc. is possible.
The power amplifier section is equipped with four push-pull PA units of MOS, FET, and MRF150MP, and has a generous output of 1kW. Since it is a semiconductor amplifier, there is no preheating time and it can be operated at full power immediately after turning on the power.

The large heat sink, powerful cooling fan, and large capacity power supply section allow for safe operation. The old type IC-PW1 cannot be linked with the rig unless the power is turned on, so it is not possible to switch antennas or switch PW1 bands, so it was necessary to turn it on even if the linear amplifier was not required, but the IC-PW1 on sale is a later model and does not have this problem. As shown in the photo, each band is adjusted to 1kW in this environment, but the output may change slightly if the rig or antenna used is changed. In that case, adjust the ALCadj (yellow knob) on the rear with a screwdriver.

It will output more than 1kW, but please use it up to 1kW. Please use a socket that matches the 200V socket in your home. There are no major scratches, but there is one scratch on the rear caused by the coaxial connector.

The paint on the top cover is a little rough. It’s hard to tell from the photo, but please refer to the photo . The controller will be sent separately. The ANT3/4 and ACC2 on the rear of the PW1 are not used. It is a one-owner purchase and has hardly been moved since installation. In addition to the IC-PW1 as shown in the photo, the accessories are the instruction manual, separate cable, control cable from the exciter, and CI-V cable. Nothing other than an outlet is needed to use the linear amplifier.
