Scarce Remoterig RRC-1258MkⅡ, Remote control for your Icom We Ship Free Worldwide

This is a set of RRC-1258MkⅡ, a device made by Microbit 2.0 AB of Sweden that allows remote control of radios via the Internet. By connecting the front panel of the radio to the controller of this unit, connecting the radio body to the radio side of this unit, and connecting each to the Internet, the front panel and the radio body can be operated via the Internet while being separated.

By using this unit, remote operation is possible without a computer.

Photo 2 shows an outline of the connection.

The RRC part in the figure is this unit.

We connected it to an ICOM IC-706MkⅡG and confirmed its operation on a home LAN with DDNS not set.

In the same way as normal separate operation, the remote radio can be turned on by simply pressing the power switch on the front panel, and other operations were also possible without any problems. Photos of the confirmation are also included. In addition to the main unit, a CD-ROM containing the instruction manual (in English) and the latest firmware, a connection cable, and a set of power cables are included. The instruction manual and firmware can also be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website.

The separate cable (OPC-581) used with the IC-706 is included with a LAN connector.

It can be extended with a LAN cable, and I think it will be useful for separate operation even without this unit.

The IC-706MkG shown in the photo is not included. The hardware version is the current V7, and the latest firmware v2.95 has been installed.

The compatible radio is a little old (see photo), but I hope you will use it for remote operation. The appearance is clean, but it is a used device with some scratches and dirt, so please sell it as is, no claims, no returns. I would like to receive bids from those who have no problems with LAN or Internet settings.
