The Kenwood Trio Corporation SM-220 is a vintage station monitor dating back to 1978.
This unit was acquired as part of a collection clearance project. According to the previous owner, the unit powers on and a waveform could be observed during a basic test.
The SM-220 is also featured on pages 130–143 of the July 2025 issue of CQ HAM RADIO, adding historical interest to this vintage piece of amateur radio equipment.
Due to its age, we recommend considering this unit as a vintage/used item and reviewing the available photographs carefully.
